PNEUMATIC RAMS |
|
The
double effect (lift and dive) pneumatic rams are designed in different models
to fit all Larius pneumatic transfer
and extrusion pumps. All the models are supplied complete with air pressure
regulator with filter and lubricator for the pump and air pressure regulator
for the ram. On request we can supply rams complete with follower plate.

The
main difference between transfer and extrusion pumps is the fluid suction
valve. While transfer pumps have a ball valve, extrusion pumps have a shovel
valve that allows to suck high viscosity fluids (up to 2 million cps). Usually
these pumps are mounted on pneumatic rams that allow to suck the fluid directly
from the original drum and a quick drum replacement. A follower plate fitted to
the pump fluid section presses the material avoiding pump cavitations,
providing an even material flow. Besides, it protects the fluid from dust and
humidity contamination and from any
reaction caused by the contact with air. |

Double post pneumatic ram for 30 litres drums
suitable to all Vega and Ghibli pumps. Sturdy and easy to use allows a clean
and quick drum change. It can be fixed to the floor.
Single post pneumatic ram for 30 litres drums to
suit all Vega and Ghibli pumps. Light and handy, it can be easily moved around
the workplace. |
| PNEUMATIC RAM FOR 200 LITRES DRUMS |

Double post
pneumatic ram for 200 litres drums designed to suit Ghibli, Omega and Nova
pneumatic pumps.
A safe and reliable system that
allows the drum change in few minutes with quick and safe operations.
The big toroidal seals, made by a special rubber compound, oil and
solvent resistant, allow outstanding sealing performances.
The
special directional sleeves, fitted on the top of the lifting cylinders, avoid
the “flag-waving” and oscillations
proper of other products available in the market.
